What is the Upgrade Program?
- The Upgrade program allows you to start at whatever level of protection you can, and then upgrade your BioShield for increased protection and support to a higher level of protection within 3 years, as long as your shield is in excellent condition, free from dents and deep scratches.
- If you took the quiz, you received a recommendation. We understand it may not always be possible to purchase the recommended level of Shield right away. If that’s the case we suggest starting just one level lower than recommended.
If you haven’t taken the quiz, you can click here. - If you initially got a recommendation for a Level 2 Shield, things may have changed. We suggest you retake the quiz to see if that’s still enough protection and/or check-in with yourself and assess whether or not you are getting the same relief as you did when you first got your L1 or 2 Shield.
Please don’t let yourself go unprotected just because of the price. Start with something right now!
Please be aware that when you choose a lower level of protection from your quiz recommendation, you will not be getting the full benefits of protection that your quiz indicated you need. If you have done this, and are not satisfied with your results, it is likely a higher level of protection will work much better for you. When you are ready you can upgrade your BioShield for increased protection. Most people move up to the next highest level. We make this process as easy as possible, you even keep your current Shield until the new upgraded Shield arrives, and you’ve only paid us the difference between the two.
When to Upgrade – Is Your Shield meeting your changing needs?
- Has your neighborhood added 5G or Smart Meters?
- Has your Wi-Fi Router been upgraded – the new routers are 5G compatible and usually have a much stronger signal.
- Have you gotten new technology – A new phone, Smart TV, home Nest or security system, smart appliances?
- Do you notice greater sensitivity to other people’s energy?
- Are you noticing physical symptoms that disappeared when you first bought a Shield – but are showing up again? This is a strong indicator the EMF radiation levels have increased in your environment and that upgrading your BioShield for increased protection.
- Has your Home or Work environment changed recently?
Are you spending more time around confrontational, negative, or stressed-out people? Or have you taken on new responsibilities that are causing extra stress? Even a small change can impact your health and well-being, a stronger Shield can help you deal with internal and external stresses. - Have you moved to a larger city? Explanation of the Five Levels of Protection
Inside every BioElectric Shield is a physics-based crystal matrix (see How it Works) surrounded by a case of made of a precious metal. The type of metal amplifies the strength of the energy activity created by the crystal matrix.
Level 1 – Essential
Brass, a good amplifier, is used in all Level 1 Shields. They are very effective in a room, auto, or as a starter personal Shield.
Level 2 – Plus
Sterling Silver, a stronger amplifier, is used in the Level 2 Shields. Children and others with low-moderate exposure to EMF do well with this level of protection.
Level 3 – Premium
A Sterling Silver disk with 14K gold tabs is used in the Level 3 Shield. Adding gold tabs to the silver makes this Shield far stronger, including protection from Smart Meter radiation, 5G, and other EMFs. It is chosen by those who are EMF & environmentally sensitive, empaths, and HSPs (those who are sensitive to other people’s energy). Why? Gold is the strongest amplifier of Crystal Matrix Energy in the Shield.
Level 4 – Ultimate
Level 4—Ultimate—All 14K yellow or white gold is the ultimate amplifier used in all Level 4 Shields. Explanation of Specialized Crystal Matrices
We have special crystal matrices to address certain energy needs. They all offer the same protection and energy balancing as the standard matrix but offer additional energy support for specific issues. Any of these matrices can be added to Level 2-4 Shields when you order.
Focusing Matrix: If you have a focus issue, choose our focusing matrix instead of the standard one. We add additional crystals to help you focus. Available in Levels 2 through 5.
Did you know sleep is the most important time to be protected? Sleep is when your body recovers and replenishes itself. Many people wear a personal Shield during the day, put it on their nightstand, and have a Room Shield on the other side of the room for additional protection.
How to Upgrade Your BioShield for Increased Protection

- Upgrade your BioShield within three years of your purchase. Please give us the approximate date of the original purchase. If we accept your Shield for an upgrade, you will receive a credit based on the current sale price less a $50 recharge/repolishing fee.
- All upgrades must be in excellent condition with no dents or scratches that cannot be buffed out or other signs of excessive wear.
- Keep Your Current Shield until you get the new one (We don’t want you to be Shieldless)
- You will receive an invoice via email and once it is paid, we will mail you your new Shield. (see below for payment details)
- Mail us back the Shield you are trading in when you get your new Shield.
- Contact our business office (541-201-8878) to speak with one of our support staff to start the upgrade process. We will ask you to email us a closeup picture of the front and back of the Shield.
- Paying for the upgrade: Once your upgrade has been approved, you may pay for it via the invoice that we send you or by paying for it over the phone.
When you are ready to order and upgrade your BioShield and increase your protection

Option 1 – Call with a credit card
- We will apply up to 1/2 of your original purchase price, less the upgrade fee, towards your new Shield, you pay the difference.
- We will initially charge you the full amount for a new shield. You will receive your credit once we receive your old shield. You have 14 days to return your trade-in.
- As soon as you get the new Shield, return your original Shield to the address on your invoice (4115 Bakerview Spur, Bellingham WA 98226)- be sure to insure it for the original price.
- Once we receive your old Shield, without deep scratches or dents, you will receive a credit to your payment.
- When you do return it – we’ll apply the credit to your original payment method.
Option 2 – You want to pay with PayPal – Bank or Credit Card – without giving us the #
- We understand that not everyone is comfortable giving out their credit card details. Thus we have a couple of options.
- We will apply up to 1/2 of your original purchase price, less the upgrade fee, towards your new Shield, you pay the difference.
- We will initially charge you the full amount for a new shield. You will receive your credit once we receive your old shield. You have 14 days to return your trade-in.

A NOTE, PLEASE!
Please include a note that you are returning for credit, or exchange, whichever is the case.
NON-SHIELD RETURNS
Send back products in a box with padding around each product item to protect it. Please ensure it for your purchase price. For example, if you rented a Stetzer meter, it is a requirement that it be enclosed in bubble wrap. If you are returning filters, each filter must be bubble-wrapped.
ALERT US YOU HAVE SENT US A PACKAGE
Please check the box to notify the sender and put in our email [email protected] – this will send us the tracking info. Once you have the label printed apply it to the box and also tape the flap closed – their sticky surface doesn’t always stay stuck.
If using a printed label, you don’t even have to stand in line at the post office, you can put it in an outgoing mailbox.
SHIELD RETURN
Return the Shield in the original box including the instructions and cord. Ensure for the current value of the Shield if you were to purchase it new.
HOW TO SHIP
USPS (Recommended) We highly recommend USPS Priority Mail (Shields fit nicely in the small flat-rate Priority Mailbox)
Order and print your label and insurance online www.usps.com. Naturally, you are welcome to use FedEx or UPS if this is your preference.
INTERNATIONAL RETURNS – SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
When shipping from outside of the USA please do not use courier services like DSL (they don’t deliver to our area and will only delay your return). Preferred methods Priority Mail, UPS, FedEx.
Customs declarations – clearly mark the package as a warranty return. If you do not do this and we are charged customs fees, you will be responsible for the fees.

Questions about Trading Up
- What if I’ve had my Shield for over 3 years? If you have purchased a Shield more than 3 years ago, we suggest you turn it into a Room Shield. If you choose to do this, please contact us via email or phone. We do have upgrade options for you and special pricing that reflects your status as a Shield owner.
- If you’ve had it between 3 and 5 years, send a photo of your Shield front and back and we’ll let you know if we can take it in for an upgrade.
- If your Shield is damaged and cannot be used for an upgrade, you can send it in to be recharged and repolished and then sell it, or gift it to someone else, or use it as an Auto or Room Shield. You can also clear the energy by hanging the Shield in a window for 6 days. Read details of how to clear a Shield.

Shield behaves like a tuning fork, humming and vibrating in the background, giving me a sense of well-being as I hum and vibrate to its rhythm.
My original Shield was Satin Silver with brass tabs, and I have worn it since 1996. I can’t say I was aware enough to know specifically how it made me feel, at that time, I just knew that I loved the way it looked and had great regard for what its intended purpose was designed to do.
